Incorporated in the year 1962, The Vardhman Group is a globally recognized textile conglomerate in India with an annual turnover of more than 1 billion USD. Spanning over 24 manufacturing facilities located in five states of the country, the Group’s business portfolio includes Yarn, Greige and Processed Fabric, Sewing Thread, Acrylic Fibre and Alloy Steel. The Group encompasses the following corporate entities - Vardhman Holdings Ltd, Vardhman Textiles Ltd, Vardhman Acrylics Ltd and Vardhman Special Steels Ltd.
Early on, Vardhman Group recognised its possible role in the development of society and was conscientious of the environmental impact of its activities. Today, the company has a full fledged CSR program that encompasses Education, Society, Environment and Health and Safety. The Company’s vision is to pursue a corporate strategy that enables shareholder value enhancement in a mutually reinforcing and synergistic manner.
The Vardhman Group has been engaged in the social economic growth around the local areas where it has manufacturing activities. This engagement has been through two Trusts (Smt. Banarso Devi Oswal Public Charitable Trust and Sri Aurobindo Socio-Economic and Management Research Institute) run by it as well as through direct activities or projects.
